Hello! My name is Garrett Like and I am a current senior at the Leeds School of Business, studying marketing. My focus within marketing has primarily been in digital marketing and social media, which has largely led me to this class. I am a current intern at several natural food brands in the Denver/Boulder area. In one of my internships at Yasso Inc. I have been taking on more and more projects that overlap between our marketing and creative team. I am hoping to expand some of my creative skills and add some more tools to my portfolio. Currently, my main focus for digital art has been Instagram stories and creating memes for Twitter. I am hoping to take on more a creative role within advertising, therefore some of my approach to digital art is for professional purposes. However, I also love art for the purpose of self-expression for my own personal use. Things such as memes are a fun way I like to share my art, and make it relevant to current conversations and social trends.
